The Role of an Intern

You have obtained the invitation to apply for the internship. Now, you need to start the process of applying for the internship. Your first step should be to organize a list of contacts who might know the details of the company and the position you are applying for. Look for companies that hire interns or have internship programs. Send out a mass text to your network with the title of the job in the subject line and the name of the company in the body of the text. In the text, you will provide a brief description of the position and provide any additional contact information you might have. After you have sent the mass text, wait patiently for your network to respond to you.


The Interview Process

Your time is running out! If you are a recent graduate or an MBA candidate, your only chance at getting a job with a leading company like Tower is during the internship. Therefore, you have to do your homework and plan ahead of time. Here are some things that you can do to ensure that you get the most out of the experience: 1. Take plenty of notes Try to remember everything that the interviewer says in detail. Keep a paper and pen by you at all times. Make sure that you have a system for recording key points. The Tower Research program is a unique program in the sense that it allows students to do independent research with the goal of achieving a professional research paper publication at the end of the semester.
